#live is Happening now. It applies the published standard in full and adds 1 rule of its own, because a channel may only be stricter than the standard and never looser. It is a prototype: channels can be created and their rules published, and no channel has yet selected a broadcast of its own.
#live
Happening now
What this channel adds
live.replayThis is a pre-recorded film, television programme, cartoon or music video being replayed, rather than something happening now. Signs include opening or closing credits, a title card, film grain or letterboxing, animation, a station identification screen, or a static logo or album art held with no live scene behind it. A camera pointed at a quiet or empty real place is NOT this.
What it cannot change
Every rule in the published standard applies here. A channel may only be stricter: it cannot lower a bar, add a permission, or reach a rule that protects a person. That is checked when the rules are saved and again when they are read, so a rule written straight into the database never reaches a reviewer either.
How long it stays on one feed
90 seconds, minimum. Cutting between two cameras at one game is nearly invisible; cutting between unrelated programmes every few seconds is a strobe rather than a broadcast, so this is a channel's own number rather than the standard's. It is a guess: nothing has measured what a channel cut should be.
